ABOUT THE JOURNAL
The “Journal for Safety Science and Fire Research (JSSFR)” is a new endeavor initiated by NSC-Kerala Chapter in order to promote publications which consist of research papers, review papers and case studies related to the field of safety science and fire research. The aim of this journal is to provide a national level platform for promoting academic and research activities for development of this engineering discipline. This journal will serve as a national medium for research in the field of safety, health, environment and fire science and technology. The scope of this journal includes the safety of people covering the entire spectrum of the workplace, such as transport, leisure, and home, as well as every other field including Process Safety, Biological Hazards, Biomechanics, Ergonomics, Occupational Health Management, Environment Management, Fire Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Quantitative Risk Assessment, Safety of Machinery, Sustainable Safety practices and H&S in the circular economy.
JSSFR will enable academic researchers, engineers and decision makers in companies, Government agencies and National bodies to augment their information level on the latest trends in the field from policy makers and management scientists and engineers. The journal focuses primarily on original research papers across its whole scope, but also welcomes state-of-the-art review papers and first hand case histories on accidents and disasters of special significance.
