Executive Committee: Structure and Functioning
The Executive Committee is the governing body responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the Chapter. It consists of elected representatives from various sectors, chosen by the General Body, along with government-appointed members from different departments of the Government of Kerala.
To keep the committee dynamic and inclusive, it has the authority to co-opt additional members as needed. Currently, the committee has 18 members, each contributing their expertise and experience to support the Chapter’s growth and decision-making.
Leadership and Key Office Bearers
The Labour Minister of Kerala serves as the Ex-Officio Patron, offering guidance and ensuring alignment with government policies.
To ensure smooth and efficient operations, the Chapter appoints the following key office bearers:
Chairman – Leads the committee, presides over meetings, and provides strategic direction to achieve the Chapter’s goals.
Vice-Chairmen (2) – Support the Chairman in leadership responsibilities and step in when needed.
Honorary Secretary – Handles correspondence, maintains records, and ensures the implementation of committee decisions.
Honorary Joint Secretary – Assists the Honorary Secretary in administrative and operational tasks.
Honorary Treasurer – Manages the Chapter’s finances, ensures transparency, and maintains financial records.
This structured leadership approach ensures that the Chapter operates effectively, stays true to its mission, and serves its members and stakeholders efficiently.
